Web Based Business Apps Portfolio
Project overview:
A top 10 mortgage lender was interested in replacing all the functionality of their post-closing mortgage citrix-based applications which were going end of life by their provider. The customer requested a like-for-like functional web based replacement for their estimated 400 employees.
Pyramid Solutions instead proposed a solution that went above and beyond the initial like-for-like expectations and allowed the customer to make important changes to their business process that greatly enhanced efficiency and enabled them to compete in the new mortgage market space with the same budget as a like-for-like replacement. The initial phase consisted of Pyramid Solutions becoming experts in the business vertical as well as the existing applications, both by using the application and working directly with the users of the system. The next phase consisted of discussions and debates about what functionality made sense in the customers new vision. The final phase resulted in the successful delivery of an intranet web based business application that rolled out to over 5,000 employees (20x the load expected) that integrated directly with their existing Loan Origination (LOS) & Enterprise Content Management (ECM) systems when it was all said and done.

Project overview:
A premier freight shipping company was looking for a way to enable their customers to submit claims themselves instead of the ad-hoc and inefficient process that had evolved organically over the past 10 years. This current process usually started with a phone call, faxing in account information and evidence pictures, and ended with a generally unacceptable turn-around time for their customers.
Pyramid Solutions proposed a new internet based web application that would allow their customers to submit information electronically. The application contained validation logic based upon the business rules Pyramid Solutions had discovered while observing and working with the claims processing staff. This logic made sure the customer knew the likelihood that their claim would be processed quickly and they would get their desired result. Customers could submit photographic evidence through the web application, or append to the claim later with faxes, email, and snail mail. All customer submitted information made its way through the freight company’s Kofax based imaging system so that it could be processed in accordance with their now possible SLA customer agreements.
